“she”

her darkest motives /hidden/in plain sight

like a new moon/in the darkness/she stands

deliberate/like a shadow/waiting

as she enfolds you/ searching for your soul/for eternity

her darkest motives

like a new moon

deliberate

as she enfolds you

hidden

in the darkness

like. a shadow

searching for your soul

in plain sight, she stands

waiting

for eternity

This is a tryptic poem. It is supposed to be written in three columns, but I couldn’t get the columns to work on this platform, so I separated the columns with backslashes. You can read the poem line by line across and then read it down each column (separated by the slashes) and have another “hidden” poem. Under the original poem I have typed how it would read in columns. Hope you enjoy it!
